Dr. Gerayli is a board certified specialist in internal medicine, providing comprehensive
medical care in Camarillo, with an emphasis in geriatrics, since 2001. She is a Summa Cum
Laude graduate of U.C. San Diego, and one of the top ten graduates of her medical
school class at the University of Texas, San Antonio. She completed her post-doctoral
training in Internal Medicine at UCLA-OVMC. She is certified by the American
Board of Internal Medicine, and she is also a member of The American Geriatrics Society.
She is the recipient of numerous awards, of note, the American Medical Women’s
Association’s Scholastic Achievement Award, and the highly esteemed Janet Glasgow
Memorial Achievement Award. She has been chosen and elected to AΩA, the prestigious
American Medical Honor Society (less than 2% of all doctors are elected to this status). She
has also received the Patients' Choice Award for two consecutive years. She has also been
chosen as one of America's top physicians by the Consumers Research Council of America.
She has taught Clinical Medicine at one of UCLA’s Medical Residency Programs, and gives
lectures on various medical topics in Ventura County. She has also provided medical
care at various charity events.
Dr. Gerayli provides personal and attentive care to each and every one of her patients, and is
one of the few remaining solo practice physicians in the County. She combines the latest in
western medicine with integrative and functional medicine, offering a comprehensive approach
to treat patients and not diseases.
Dr. Madalene Heng is a practicing board-certified Dermatologist in Camarillo, California, and Clinical Professor of Medicine/Dermatology, David Geffen UCLA School of Medicine. She spent 25 years in full time academia, and from 1979-2003, she was Chief of Dermatology/UCLA San Fernando Valley Program.
Dr. Heng is currently a reviewer for multiple journals, including The American Journal of Dermatology, Journal of Investigative Dermatology, The Lancet (London), among others. With more than 140 publications, including 86 in peer-reviewed journals on psoriasis, wound healing - aiming for perfect regeneration in burns, surgical wounds and photoaging skin, healing of acne lesions with minimal scarring etc, she focuses on the pathophysiology of disease and continued clearance of skin lesions even after withdrawal from therapy. Her interests and expertise include skin rashes of all types, eczema, urticaria and fungal infections.
Dr. Heng is also an experienced surgeon and capable of performing surgical removal of skin malignancies involving all parts of the body. She has published her surgical techniques on the use and increased survival of free skin grafts for reconstruction following surgical excisions. it here.
Dr. Ming K. Heng is Clinical Professor of Medicine/Cardiology, UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Heng was Chief of Cardiology, UCLA San Fernando Valley Program. After 25 years as a full-time cardiologist in academic Medicine, he has been in private practice as a cardiologist in Ventura County for the last 10 years.
He has over 140 scientific publications and lectures to UCLA students and residents, as well as to doctors locally and abroad. Dr. Heng’s philosophy in his practice is Patient Driven Healthcare delivered with empathy and compassion. To this end, he believes in allowing patients to make choices about their own care, while providing the counseling and information on the choices they make.
Dr. Heng strongly believes in preventive care and will provide extensive counseling to patients about life-style changes to enhance their health without resorting to the use of multiple drugs. He also believes in choosing the best treatment for his patients that is the most cost effective and non-invasive if the options exist.
